Polycarbonate (PC)

Polycarbonate (PC) is a transparent, amorphous thermoplastic polymer that finds extensive use in various fields, including safety glasses, electronic components, automotive parts, and construction materials.

PC is synthesized by polymerizing bisphenol A and phosgene through interfacial polymerization. The resultant polymer is a robust, long-lasting, and lightweight material that exhibits exceptional resistance to impact and can be easily molded into different shapes and sizes.
